About Me
I am originally from Buffalo, WY. I began my higher education by attending Sheridan College in Northeast Wyoming were I earned an Associate of Science degree. From there I attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie. At UW, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in history with a minor in geography. After graduating, I then enlisted in the US Air Force. During my six years of service I worked as a weather forecaster and earned an Associate of Science in meteorology. While still in the service, I began taking masters level history courses online through the University of Nebraska at Kearney. After separating from the Air Force I began attending UNK full time to complete my Masters in Arts in history. While at UNK I have also worked as a graduate teaching assistant. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I attended Harvard University Extension School online where I earned a Masters Certificate in Museum Studies.

In my spare time I enjoy camping, mountain bike riding, motorcycle riding, and archery. I love the mountains and spending time hiking and enjoying nature. I have rudimentary photography skills, and all the background pictures on this site are my own work, While at UNK I have been active in Phi Alpha Theta history honor society, and the UNK Student Veterans Organization.
