UNK - Research and Works

During my time at the University of Nebraska at Kearney I was privileged enough to present my research at several different events. At the 2019 Missouri Valley History Conference I represented UNK's Phi Alpha Theta (national history honor society) chapter with a research paper on Nebraska's role during World War I.

I also presented at the 2019 and 2020 UNK Graduate Research Day. Under the leadership of Dr. Jeff Wells I conducted research and was part of a team presentation for History Nebraska’s Historic Homes of Pioneer Park (video). I also worked under Dr. Wells to research the 1918-19 flu pandemic with the information presented at the UNK / G. W. Frank Museum special event.

Most recently I have successfully defended my master's thesis: "Where Meteorologists Fear to Tread": Weather Modification on the Great Plains and the Rainmakers of the 1890s.
